bleahx. exams feel lyk, and have been, anything but exams. kinda feels lyk its still holidays, wif us juz being tested on stuff we've lill or no time to mug for, aka, we dun reali study for. lol. c'mon, i've a classmate hu so far, hasnt mugged for ANYTHING. LYK WTF?!? i noe its suicidal, but dat guy will probably still get a respectable score. i'll update more abt exams, dis one, for some weird reason, is damn interesting.

c'mon, lyk, after tellin us e errors in e chem mcq, e teacher hu set e paper told us grimly 'good luck, u'll need it.' WTH LA!

oh well, its e set texts tmr for eng. its actuali lit la, e angmohs mixed eng and lit up for some weird reason. n yeah, maths too. im so gonna die.

exams!

exams are upon us, whether we lyk it or not )= (replace exams wif 'open war' for e LOTR version). urgh.

i juz realized im so screwed, cos, though im roughly set for organic chem, my analytical chem is DEAD. bleahx. i juz hope i make it thru, if not it'll be all dat mugging for nth. i better get an A for chem. oh well, at most, if i dunno how to do e qn, i can use e chem paper for another thing: paper chromatography. more generally, partition chromatography, where the stationary state is water adsorbed onto the cellulose fibres of the paper and the mobile phase is the solvent/eluent which is usuali alcohol (ahhh, see, R-OH!).

in e meantime, sighz, i dunno, i stayed up till 230am waiting for d to be free to tok to ytd nite (sat nite-sundae morn), cos she told mi she'll poke mi when she's done wif her fren, but, looks lyk she 4got...

oh yeah, did i also mention she now has e impression im an alcoholic? urgh. im so not lor. its juz, e jokers had block leave n were veh bored, n i was very stressed, so we decided to chill, literally, in a room where e temp is sub-zero lyk, -8deg celsius, lyk, WTH A ROOM CAN GET SO COLD?!? I WANT! lol. quite fun la. e prob is e onli way to keep warm, for a short while, was to drink ROH. so yeah, its not my fault. btw, to note, if u're in e sub-zero portion of e bar, plz dun order a frozen margarita, its either damn brave, or damn stupid. lyk, reali, reali stupid.

interesting conversations

want to expand on dis post. it was quite an interesting nite/morning or wadever u wanna callit. had some reali gd conversations which brought up several thoughts:

i had a veh interesting conversation wif choo yang concerning musical genres after he said dat he put any jazz songs in his mp3 which has no vocalists, aka jazz instrumentals under e genre 'classical'. wth. lyk, dude, its jazz, its so much better den classical! neways we den had dis discourse on e countless number of genres dere r n how, esp for rock, if dey cant figure it out, dey juz throw it under e genre 'alternative rock'. lol. though i did argue dat some of his examples fell under indie instead of alt rock. quite interesting.

rite at e end, he said he's been listening to artic monkeys n asked mi if i had any of their songs. to which i replied no, n asked 'wad genre r dey?'.

'dont know, y dun u listen to it n figure it out?' as he sent mi e file.

den i found myself tokin to yeong wei, a classmate, n i finally found out why im at home tokin to him most of e time. no, im not gay. its juz, he's real. most of e skool's fakers and pretenders, pple hu put on facades, but he doesnt, not even in skool. i've to admit, even i put on a facade in skool. seriously. but yepp, i guess i noe y i click wif e frens i haf now so much. dey're all not fakers, dey're veh much demselves, at least when we're all tog. oh well, quite sad. weiyuan in a separate conversation surprisingly brought up e same pt dat his ex skool was full of fakers n r hardly any gd pple. den i brought up e example of keegan, n dats when i realized dat yepp, e pple i mixed wif, dey're all juz real. lyk, take keegan for example: his piano's how zai, lyk, ZAI, until cannot be more zai. but still, he nv ever mentions it, nv ever sings his own praises. always encourages his peers. he's naturally born wif gd looks, but he doesnt flaunt it or use it to get gals, to e pt we've labelled him a joker at times. but yeah, he's real. n so r all u guys (=

i nd a touch of reality once in awhile. finally found some in skool.

okie, last was e fone conversation wif dot b4 all dis. u noe, it made mi tink, y r gals able to sae gdbyes and gd nites and take cares wif such saccharine sweetness? maybe its e tone of her voice or e way she pronounces it or puts it. gentle? cute? or caring? vulnerable? i dunno. its unfathomable, as if its inborn. but wow, e impact's juz, sweet. dere's no better word to describe it.

urgh. okie sry for e burst up. lemme state my probs: girl probs r givin mi a headache. my priorities r in a mess n thus i din not allocate enuff time to revise my subs n now im so damn SCREWED. on top of dat, wy's gf expects mi to help her wif her physics stuff dat she undertook without even bothering to do some basic research on. lyk, wth, u haf ta write dis impt paper dats worth 10% of ur grade n u dun do some prior research b4 confirming ur topic??? dude, L to tink b4 u act. how did i get into dis?

sighz. how did a simple kid frm bt batok wif high hopes n aspirations but nth much behind him get into dis screwed up lyfe?

i just wish i could relive dat time when i was in pri skool, when, during e evening of e mid autumn festival, we wuld take a walk to xiao guilin, meeting our frens also making their trip dere, wif our lanterns, sparklers, candles n matches, to join in e festive atmosphere of kids carrying lanterns, hanging lanterns on trees, lighting candles n placing it on e low wall, beautiful. or down at e water's edge, lookin on at e other crazy kids lighting sparklers in a big grp all at once, causing a sudden bright flash when e sparklers catch fire n burst into brilliance, b4 running towards e water's edge n throwing e sparklers as far n high as dey could. n we wuld join in, n wif our sparklers, our hopes n dreams soared high, bright, lyk shooting stars. lovely. just lovely. plus e fact dat its juz b4 our end of yr exams for pri skool, dat nite was one nite we could stop studying n have fun, enjoy e warmth of light in the dark cold nite.

random stuff

okie since i haf time n i woke up to a nice morning/afternoon (its 11am n its RAINING! so nice n cool!) (= so yeah, i decided i shall type out a nice long post b4 running off to mug. mugging aint coming along so well, been reali slow, i tink i shuld start mugging by myself on somedaes.

okie fine, i tried putting up e vids, but youtube's real slow, so here's e random pics on my fone:

chee mun, the emo kid: he's always sleeping/sleepy! lol, okie e foto on e far right's quite unglam la, but it was a reali long dae n we still had ta go to some rugby match. dis was taken last yr. e foto on e left, i dunno when it was taken or where, my best bet is e class party at east coast beach, e one which i jokingly suggested e location n everyone juz took it. was quite fun (=

xiuhuan. okie i seriously dunno how dis foto got into my fone. she musta borrowed my fone during some chess tourney at scf n took a pic. according to wy, she's an expert on it, n one dae managed to cope his fone, take a nice gd pic of herself, set it as his wallpaper, display pic, n screen saver all within 5 mins. quite crazy eh?

my desk during any maths portfolio deadline. dis one was taken on e dae when it was e 2nd maths portfolio deadline. yes its a printer. i brought my trusty printer to skool cos its so much more convenient den running to e old block to e library whilst praying dat its open to print out our stuff. was quite crazy dat dae, had 10 laptops in class. coulda start a lan shop! ever since den e printer's a perma resident in e class. been reali convenient during other stuff, lyk chem pracs etc where we had ta print out our last min work. esp for a class full of last min slackers :P

anthony moh a.k.a. moh!: e maths/dota pro! he's always sleeping, sleeping sleeping sleeeee... taken durin e odac nite cycling trip! (= we were at e jetty all stoned cos we were up all nite. all of us ended up sleeping for 15-20 mins. i stayed up abit to take dis pic b4 crashing too. lol, it was quite a sight for e pple fishing to see a whole grp of us wif our bikes nearby juz snoozing on e jetty.

james ong's table after one physics lesson. quite nice. he used it for e class portion of our yr 6 2006-2007 mural. dat emo kid. he n chee mun wif e emo hair (10x more emo den spiderman's!) always sat at e baq n emo-ed. except during physics when dey did other stuff depending on e lesson. for example when it was on hearing n decibels n all, e idiots took e skool mag, rolled it up, n said in their lowest voices through e tube dey made (which made their voices even lower) 'echo', which was e name of e mag. or sometimes dey'd sae 'ian lin'. lol. ian den started doing e same thing n soon it was all names. irritated e phy teacher after awhile, but yeah, wad can u do? mi n e guys in e middle n sat dere n let ourselves be amused by e others while trying not to fall asleep. we were reali reali bored lor. e pple rite in front were sleeping wif their heads on e table while e pple at e baq were restless or mugging chem.

we tried to strip ian lin. for obvious reasons: he's ian lin. lol. neways, we onli managed as far as his shirt. if i rmb correctly, we tried it again but still onli managed his shirt. urgh. but it was our best concerted effort, n man, dat guy put up a damn fierce struggle for a small person lyk him.we had 2 pple grabbing his arms, 2 his legs, 1 his mid section, n 2 trying to unbotton his shirt.

lol so far our class is okie la. in feb, when we were dismissed, we heard shouting in e first class, n went to check it out, onli to see dat e other class stripped farul. it was his bdae. thx God my bdae was on a wkend.

alex liew, a.k.a. liew/taopok staplet. yepp, its e staplets! my class is juz damn fun la, even amy claims its damn fun. we're juz spontaneous. dis was taken durin lunch at one of our spontaneous decisions to go 4 a movie after skool n go to lunch at dis reali nice jap restaurant b4 ggin 4 class party. class is reali reali damn fun. i still rmb exactly 2 wks b4 promos, someone went 'hey, lets catch a movie!' n everyone was lyk, 'hey, i want!' reali crazy. n wads best is e pple hu went were e ones hu've revised e least. LOL. but we all still managed to pass our promos somehow. hao yi OWNED promos, but dats juz him. lol :P

LOL. reali reali nice guy. at his farewell dinner he said a lill abt each person. 4 mi, he juz said, joshua, well, he's a joker. ahhh, so he did noe mi. but yeah, he recalled dat our lessons were always fun n full of laughter, cos of e jokes n stories etc. see, chess isnt dat boring. but yeah, i've since quit playing competitively startin last yr. though, e memories will 4ever be in my heart. dat includes e HOT european babes we saw at e world youth tourney in greece! :P

tired

juz came home. its 2am. had a veh veh bad dae. sighz. thx God for 2 reali gd frens hu stuck wif mi through e nite n chatted away all my troubles over a cup of hot chocolate at starbucks. musta been at least 3-4hrs str at dat place alone, not counting dinner etc. thx, reali needed it (= hope i din intrude on ur date, lol. but yeah, thx a mill, i guess my lyfe aint dat bad afterall.

wow thx wy, great timing, esp when i haf prob my very very last fencing tourney (veh last b4 i break 4 my exams) tmr... e news was lyk a smack frm a sabre right across my mask, deafening (esp e side where e sabre first makes contact, ur ear on dat side wun function for e next min), shocking (cos u smell smoke due to e sparks by sheer heat generated during that short instant), yeah, lyk a smack frm a sabre,

ok, baq frm msia, but reali too tired to update properly. so in short, i screwed up e tourney in msia, though was quite lucky to make it to the direct elimination rounds. tourney in singapore's on fri frm 1pm onwards @ clementi sports hall. lalala. but todae will be ggin down wif some spare equipment to support juniors n in case their equipment fails )= for awhile. den will go mug wif tim wee, xh n gab. dats abt it.
